Our Story: Formed in Friendship, Fueled by Grit
Rachael and Sarah met in the beauty industry, bonded by a shared obsession with retail, consumer trends, and a vision for something different. Something accessible, somethign visually stunning and of value to the consumer shopping in the beauty aisles. But the true foundation of Hi Peach Layne wasn’t laid in a boardroom—it was laid in a living room during one of life’s hardest pivots.
The Spark of Resilience
Shortly after their friendship ignited, Rachael was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis—the same disease her sister, Becca, had been fighting for six years. A severe relapse left Rachael unable to walk or think clearly for months. As a mother of two young children, the fear was overwhelming.
In that moment, Sarah did what best friends do: she showed up. She didn't just bring support; she brought her creative spirit to the thing that stood in Rachael's way of looking and feeling normal again: her walker. Sarah said "I refused to let it look like a medical device and only wanted it to look as loud and full of personality as my best friend dresses and presents herself to the world. It only felt right". Sarah transformed it with faux fur, lights, and rhinestones, turning a symbol of a scary new reality into a statement of joy, personality, and spirit.
Redefining the Vision
Rachael saw in Sarah a stubborn refusal to let a diagnosis redefine her. Sarah understood this firsthand; "I had suffered a stroke while pregnant with my oldest child, resulting in the loss of vision in one eye". Despite this, she never stopped designing. By leaning on years of instinct and adapted techniques, Sarah continued to create work so balanced and beautiful that no one would ever guess her physical limitation.
A Family Affair
When Rachael’s sister, Becca, moved back home to help navigate the complexities of Multiple Sclerosis, the support system was complete. What began as a way to cope quickly turned into a mission. Becca and Sarah realized that focusing on something fun—creating, laughing, and building—was the ultimate way to reclaim their power.
The Engine: Global Operations & Manufacturing
While the heart of the brand was formed in resilience, the scale of the brand is driven by Michael, the logistics and importing brain of the operation. Michael is the "fuel to our operations" said Rachael, "with him he brings years of deep-seated experience in running complex import businesses and we knew he was the right partner".
Because of Michael’s expertise, Hi Peach Layne isn't just a creative studio—it’s a manufacturing powerhouse. We’ve built a robust, agile supply chain with high-standard manufacturing capabilities across the United States, China, Cambodia, Vietnam and Malaysia.
The Hi Peach Layne Difference
Through the highs and lows, we’ve built something bigger than a brand. We’ve built a company rooted in friendship, family, and the belief that "hard things" can actually deepen your creativity.
By combining Sarah’s adapted creative genius, Rachael and Becca’s lived experience with accessibility, and Michael’s world-class operational engine, we deliver clean beauty and lifestyle products that meet the strictest global standards without ever losing their sense of fun.
